This is a great opportunity to meet APARU members, friends and lovers of Argentine music in an informal and fun atmosphere where your sing along skills will be very welcome! This is a fundraising event in support of APARU's solidarity projects.
The proceeds of this event will help two organizations in Argentina, Sicilia Foundation in General Guemes, Salta which provides scholarships for underprivileged children, and Todos Juntos which provides free dental care for children in the slums of Buenos Aires.
About Manantial BlancoThe idea of starting a band came up just after APARU organized Litto Nebbia's concert in London in 2008. Isro Gloger and Elisa Nieto, both members of APARU and participating organizers of Litto's event discovered their common passion for Argentine pop music. With the instrumental and vocal support of Owen Jenkins and Chris Schofield the band got together to hold this one-off fundraising concert on May 15th.
